Welcome to HH Equestrian, I am so excited to be able to bring you this blog! First and foremost I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of my existing, valued customers who have already purchased our product; you are why I started HH Equestrian. I’d also like to say a big thank you to all of our beautiful stockists who have put faith in our brand to sell in their stores.

In our very first blog, I wanted to tell you a bit about myself and why I decided to start this business. I am a horse lover and have been around horses all of my life. My childhood consisted of Pony Club and Active Riders, but I particularly loved mustering on the family farm and riding in the bush with my brothers. Having three boys and a little girl myself, I really wanted them to experience some of the life skills I had as a child; so got them into riding at a very early age. I love spending time together as a family, and wanted to be able to find a sport that we all enjoyed. Riding is definitely a sport that we can all enjoy together. I think it’s important that the kids can have a sport that they would grow to love more and more as they age and it was then that we found Polocrosse. Needless to say we all love it; Polocrosse has taken over our weekends now for the past three years. We love the responsibility that taking care of a horse teaches the kids and also the discipline, co-ordination and skills that go hand in hand with horse riding.

My family and I love this lifestyle and have spent many hours in the saddle. The more time we spent riding, the more I realized the importance of quality, durable equestrian clothing. As well as that, particularly with kids growing out of things so quickly, affordability became a very big factor. I particularly loved having jodphurs, jeans and shirts that fitted well and, going through four pregnancies, I experienced lots of body changes. With the size increases and decreases, I think I owned an entire size collection in most equestrian fashion! You really get to understand body shape when you are forced to go through it yourself. Many of you may relate to this and I urge you to give me your suggestions and feedback, before I design any new products. We have a team of consultants who seek out client feedback for style and design and value your opinion when it comes to the fit and comfort of a garment.
